FAQ
USING OUR PRODUCTS CORRECTLY TO ENSURE OPTIMAL RESULTS AND AN AMAZING HAIRFILLERY EXPERIENCE.
Using a sulphate-free shampoo correctly involves the following steps:
Wet your hair thoroughly: Sulphate-free shampoos don’t lather as much as traditional shampoos, so it’s important to start with completely wet hair for the product to distribute evenly.
Apply the shampoo: Pour a generous amount into your palm, then apply it to your scalp and hair.
Massage gently: Use your fingertips to massage the shampoo into your scalp. Don’t expect a lot of suds, as sulphate-free shampoos are low-foaming.
Rinse thoroughly: Rinse the shampoo out of your hair completely. Any residue left can make your hair feel heavy or greasy.
Repeat if necessary: If your hair is very dirty or oily, you may need to repeat the process.
Follow with a conditioner: Use a sulphate-free conditioner to seal in moisture and keep your hair smooth and shiny.
As for what to expect, here are a few things:
Less foam: Sulphate-free shampoos won’t lather as much as traditional shampoos. This is normal and doesn’t mean your hair isn’t getting clean.
Cleaner scalp and healthier hair: Sulphates can strip your hair of natural oils, leading to dryness and damage. A sulphate-free shampoo will gently clean your hair without removing these essential oils.
Color preservation: If you have color-treated hair, a sulphate-free shampoo can help maintain your color for longer as it’s less likely to strip the color from your hair.
Remember, it might take some time for your hair to adjust to a sulphate-free shampoo. Initially, your hair might feel different than what you’re used to, but with regular use, you’ll start noticing the benefits.
Using a sulphate-free conditioner with active ingredients involves the following steps:
Apply the conditioner: Pour a generous amount of conditioner into your palm. Apply it to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair, avoiding the scalp.
Massage and leave in: Gently massage the conditioner into your hair and let it sit for a few minutes to allow the active ingredients to penetrate the hair shaft.
Rinse thoroughly: Rinse the conditioner out of your hair completely. Any residue left can make your hair feel heavy or greasy.
Dry and style as usual: Pat your hair dry with a towel and style as you normally would.
As for what to expect, here are a few things:
Improved hair health: The active ingredients in the conditioner will work to repair and rejuvenate your hair, leading to healthier, shinier hair over time.
Less damage: Sulphate-free conditioners are less harsh on your hair, reducing the risk of damage and breakage.
Colour preservation: If you have colour-treated hair, a sulphate-free conditioner can help maintain your colour for longer as it’s less likely to strip the colour from your hair.
Natural feel: Initially, your hair might feel different than what you’re used to because sulphate-free conditioners don’t leave a residue on your hair. But with regular use, you’ll start noticing the natural texture and health of your hair.
Remember, it might take some time for your hair to adjust to a sulphate-free conditioner. Be patient and give your hair time to reap the benefits of the active ingredients.
